William "Tandy" Pellman

Fredericksburg, IN, William Tandy Pellman, age 69, passed away from pneumonia on Sunday, January 30, 2022, at Harrison County Hospital, in Corydon, IN. He was born in New Albany, IN, on October 14, 1952 to Hubert and Pearl (Brock) Pellman. Tandy was an 1971 graduate of Floyd Central High School in Floyds Knobs Indiana. He was a veteran and served in the United States Army.  Tandy married Lisa (Baylor) Pellman in October of 1982. He worked for many years as a HOD Carrier for Labor Local 795 in New Albany, IN. Tandy was a parent advocate to special needs children. He enjoyed dancing, hunting, fishing, gardening, and in his younger days, riding and training horses. Tandy was an amazing husband, loving father, as well as a loyal and loving friend to all he met.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Mark Pellman and Joe Pellman.

Tandy is survived by his loving wife; two sons, Josh (Monica Kopp) Pellman, Justin (Lara) Pellman; one daughter, Tricia Best; two grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren; four brothers and two sisters, Coleman Pellman, Robert (Cricket) Pellman from Crawford County, IN, Sam (Cindy) Pellman from Greenville,IN, Timmy (Eve) Pellman from Oklahoma, Corlis Pellman (Sherry) From Georgetown,IN, Martha (Brian) Anderson, from Crawford County, IN, as well as several nieces, nephews, and great nieces nephews, and one faithful companion “Boo”.

Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, February 5, 2022 at Love Funeral Home in Palmyra, IN. Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until time of service on the same day. Interment will be at Palmyra Cemetery in Palmyra Indiana.
