William E. "Nick" Nichols

William E. “Nick” Nichols of Jeffersonville, Indiana departed this life on Oct 7, 2022.  He was born to Clyde and Mossie Wells Nichols on Jan 1st 1946.

He worked for many years as a truck driver, Ford Motor Co, and then as owner/operator of Nichols Asphalt Maintenance Company in Jeffersonville.

He will be remembered for his quick wit, crazy fun personality, and generosity throughout his life.  He will be fondly remembered by daughters, Cara Lynn (Mike) Beeler of Henryville and Billie Jean (Craig) Boggess of Sellersburg; grandkids, Nicholas Beeler, Kate Nunez, Sara Payne, Monte Crawford, Levi Barnett, and Nick Walker; sisters, Vivian Rawlings, Eaton, Ohio; Mary "Toby" Lambert of Fredericksburg; Beverly (Mike) Chastain of Arligton, In, and Sandy Wright of Jeffersonville, along with many cherished nieces and nephews.

His great friends and caregivers Cindy Willis, Anna Wilson, Ron (Jimmy) Pierce, Melissa Porche, and Jessica Knight.  Whom he loved and appreciated dearly.

Along with many close friends, he shared loyalty, close relationships, and love. He had two favorite past times:  His love for westerns and his beloved Kitty Kat.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Clyde Nichols, Jr; sisters, Barbara Sue Nichols, Sharon Loise Nichols; and son, Tony Nichols.

Graveside services are Friday October 14, 2022 at Horners Chapel (Indiana) @high noon.
