Virginia Louise (Rudolph) Duvall Haub

PALMYRA, IN:  Virginia Louise Duvall Haub, age 97, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, June 24, 2021. She was born thirty minutes before her twin sister to George and Blanche (Libka) Rudolph, on December 4, 1923 in Palmyra, IN.  Virginia married Randall Duvall on Nov. 29, 1941, they had four children together and were married for 56 years until his death in 1998. She later married Ward Haub and they were married for 12 years until his death in 2011. Virginia worked at the Fine Shirt Factory and then later retired from I.C.I Charlestown, IN. Virginia was quick witted and you never had to wonder what she was thinking because she would always tell you.  She enjoyed crocheting and spending time with her family.  Virginia was a member of the Palmyra United Methodist Church. In 2015 Virginia and her sister, Verna Emerson, were recognized as the oldest living twins in Harrison County. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, husbands, Randall Duvall and Ward Haub, one daughter, Beverly Conrad; four brothers, Norris, Earl, Arvile and Alan Rudolph, four sisters, Verna Emerson, Frances Stinnett, Eula Rudolph, and Georgia Eveslage, and a half-brother, Raymond Libka.

She is survived by her son, Jeffrey Duvall, two daughters, Connie Lopp, and Patty Duvall; nine grandchildren, Chuck Conrad, Ann Applegate, Joy Bruner, Randa Korte, Mike Brown(­­­­­­­Pam), Jennifer Duvall (Kriss Phillips), Jeffica Washnock (Chris), Angel Priddy, Heather Hoefler (Gary), nineteen great-grandchildren, fourteen great-great-grandchildren, one brother, Melvin Rudolph, and two sisters, Darlene (Larry) Lang and Carol Smith.

Funeral services will be held at 1p.m. on Wednesday June 30th, 2021 at Love Funeral Home in Palmyra, IN.  Visitation will be on Tuesday June 29th, 2021 from 2p.m. to 8p.m and again on Wednesday June 30th at 11a.m until time of service.

Interment will be at Palmyra Cemetery, Palmyra, IN.
