Violet (Mallory) McKim

Clarksville, IN, Violet (Mallory) McKim, age 93, passed away peacefully in her home, surrounded by her loving great-nieces on February 09, 2022. Vi married Dallas McKim in 1967. She was born in Derby, Indiana to Orville and Julina (Sandage) Mallory on December 15, 1928. Vi was a lover of the written word and enjoyed writing letters as well as receiving them. She was a competitive card player and she was not a fan of losing. Vi and Dallas lived in Okeechobee, Florida for 21 years where they enjoyed nature and fishing.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; one son, Eldon Mason; one step-daughter, Laura Maxine McKim; four brothers, August Mallory, Earl Mallory, Robin Mallory, Heman Howell; one sister Viola Taylor.

Vi is survived by one daughter, Wanda Smith; one son Denzil (Lisa) Mason; one step-son, Alvin (Becky) McKim; several grandchildren; as well as her caretaker and great-nieces, Sheila (Keith) Vaughn, and Sheri (Andy) Ness.  

Cremation was chosen. Love Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. The family would like to thank all those who showed love and provided care for Vi. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Violet's name to a charity of your choice.
