Vicky Jean (Ogden) Benge

Palmyra, IN, Vicky Jean (Ogden) Benge, age 74, passed away on Monday November 15, 2021 at Norton’s Women’s and Children’s Hospital in Louisville, KY. Vicky was born in New Albany, IN, on October 18, 1947 to Harry B. and Nora B. (LaHue) Ogden. She married Alvin D. Benge in 2005. Vicky worked for Beach Mold and Tool in New Albany, IN, and retired after 25 years of service. She enjoyed cross stitch, sewing, crocheting, and reading. Vicky loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She is proceeded in death by her parents; husband, two sisters, Loeta Flener, Cara Taylor; and one brother, Thomas Ogden.  

Vicky is survived by her daughter, Lora, (Brian) McAfee; Son, Darrell Kennedy; four grandchildren, Erin (Eric) Hoehn, Derik Lowhorn, Brady (Katie Ryan) McAfee, Cole McAfee; Three Great-grandchildren, Madelyn Hoehn, Payton Hoehn, and Kinsley McAfee; Seven sisters, Nadine (Delbert) Smith, Shirley Rigsby, Patricia (Lee) Bingham, Janice (Butch) Jerrell, Judy Ballard, Linda Murphy, Sandy (John) Friend; as well as one brother, Donald (Loretta) Ogden.

A memorial visitation will be held at Love Funeral Home in Palmyra IN, on Friday November 19, 2021 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Cremation was chosen with Love Funeral Home in charge of arrangments.
