Vecelia Sue (Ulrich) Martin, age 81, of New Salisbury, peacefully passed away at her home on July 4, 2024. She was born on April 24, 1943, to Claude and Drusa (Henson) Ulrich in Plano, IL. Vecelia married Earl Martin on February 10, 1976, and together they shared a life filled with love.

Vecelia was a dedicated homemaker, finding joy in crafting, sewing, and creating beautiful works of art with diamond dots. Her creativity was matched only by her immense love for her family. She was a pillar of support and encouragement, always present to cheer on their endeavors and celebrate their achievements.

In addition to her passion for crafting, Vecelia cherished the time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren. Her face lit up with joy whenever she was surrounded by their laughter and love. Vecelia was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband Earl, and her dear best friend, JoAnn Jones.

She is survived by her son Brandon Martin, daughter Robin (Jerry) Farias, granddaughter Heather Vecelia (Ethan) Davis, grandson Chris Farias, grandson Zac (Neveah) Farias, granddaughter Audrey (Marvin) Farias, great-grandson Grayson Davis, and two great-grandchildren on the way.
