Ronald "Jack" Rumbley, age 86, of Salem, Indiana, passed away peacefully on September 26, 2024. He was born on April 14, 1938, to Paul Glenn and Zelma May (King) Rumbley in Georgetown, Indiana.
Jack enjoyed a successful career with A.O. Smith Water Products, where he served as a Supervisor. His professional life was complemented by his deep commitment to his faith. On June 7, 1957, he married the love of his life, Charlotte (LaVon) Rumbley. Together, they built a warm and loving home in Palmyra, where they created countless cherished memories.
A devoted servant of the Lord, Jack attended and contributed to several churches across Indiana and South Carolina, ultimately becoming a licensed preacher and Gospel Minister, ordained by Palmyra Baptist Church. His passion for ministry touched the lives of many in his community.
Jack is preceded in death by his parents, Paul Glenn Rumbley and Zelma May Rumbley.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Charlotte; his son, Dennis Allen (Myong) Rumbley; his daughter, Della Mae Brewer; and his son, William "Dale" (Beth) Rumbley. Jack's legacy is further enriched by six grandchildren: Ruby Dietz, Daniel (Ana) Rumbley, Alex Rumbley, William "Billy" (Holly) Brewer, Nichole (Danny) Davis, and Dustin Brewer; as well as seven great-grandchildren and one step-great-granddaughter; and his brother, Terry (Leslie) Rumbley.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 30, 2024, from 4 PM to 8 PM, and again on Tuesday, October 1, 2024, from 11 AM to 2 PM at Love Funeral Home in Palmyra, IN.
Funeral services will follow on Tuesday, October 1, 2024, at Love Funeral Home, with burial at Palmyra Cemetery.
