Ronald Lee Powers

Fredericksburg, IN, Ronald Lee Powers, age 61, passed away on October 31, 2022 at Norton Hospital in Louisville, KY. He was born on October 03, 1961, in Louisville, KY, to David and Doris (Shawler) Powers. Ronnie owned and operated his own Poultry Farm. He graduated from West Washington High School Class of 1980. Ronnie was a people person, and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and Nascar Racing. Ronnie loved spending time with his family especially his grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his father; brother, Kenny Powers; four grandparents, Carl and Gertrude (Keltner) Powers, James B. and Louise (Spurling) Shawler.

Ronnie is survived by his mother; one daughter, Katelynn (Jared) Kelley; one son Joshua (Erica) Powers; three grandchildren, Logan Powers, Hannah Powers, Rowan Kelley; three brothers, Donnie (Robin) Powers, David (Paula) Powers, Keith Powers; several nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles; and Jayne Powers.

Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m. on Friday November 04, 2022 at Love Funeral Home in Palmyra, IN. Visitation will be held from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday November 03, 2022 and again on Friday November 04, 2022, from 10 a.m. until time of service. Interment will be at Horner’s Chapel Cemetery in Fredericksburg, IN.
