Ronald Michael Lilly

Ronald Michael Lilly, age 75, of Corydon, IN, passed away peacefully on September 18, 2024. Born on May 23, 1949, in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of Herman and Carolyn Lilly.

Ronald's educational journey began at an all-boys Catholic school, where he cultivated a strong foundation that he later built upon by earning a Bachelor of Science degree from Indiana University Southeast. His commitment to service was evident in his time as a Navy veteran, actively serving during the Vietnam War.

For 15 years, Ronald dedicated himself to his profession as a registered nurse, embodying compassion and care in his work. He was married to Rebecca (Darland) Lilly, and together they built a loving home in Corydon, IN. Ronald cherished the simple joys of life, finding happiness in shooting guns, computers, riding motorcycles, and most importantly, spending quality time with his family.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Carolyn Lilly. 

Ronald is survived by his beloved wife, Rebecca Lilly; daughters Jessica Bonacum and Bethany Lilly; sister Linda Orwitz; and his cherished grandchildren, Maleah and Lucas Monroe and Lillian Bonacum.

A private graveside service will be held at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Corydon, IN, to honor his life and legacy. In this time of sorrow, the family appreciates the love and support from friends and community.
