Ronald Mitchell Bender

Ronald Mitchell Bender, age 63, of Palmyra, IN, passed away on January 17, 2025. He was born on November 7, 1961, in Indianapolis, IN, to Roger and Barbara (Drotz) Bender. Ronald attended Manuel High School in Indianapolis and graduated in the class of 1980.

Ronald worked as a Diesel Mechanic for several companies, including Freightliner Co., and also as a mechanic for Freeman Tires. He was known for his love of tinkering on various projects and had a passion for fixing things. He was especially fond of turkey shoots and fishing, but above all, Ronald cherished spending time with his children and family.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Roger and Barbara Bender.

Ronald is survived by his daughter, Jennifer (Aaron Spencer) Bender; son, Ronald Bender, Jr.; sister, Kathy Denniston; significant other, Linda Lisby; and two step-children, Jennifer Stewart and Josh Campbell.

In keeping with his wishes, cremation was chosen, and there will be no public services. Love Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
