Salem, IN: Paul Scott “Scooter” Elliott, age 57, Passed away June 24, 2021, at his residence, He was born in Louisville, KY, on May 26, 1964 to Deward and Mary (Toncray) Elliott. Scooter graduated from West Washington High School Class of 1982. He worked as a Maintenance Technician for Harrison County, IN. Scooter was on the Palmyra Volunteer Fire Department for thirty years. He loved country music, the beach, deep sea fishing, and spending time with his friends and family.

 He is preceded in death by his parents; one Brother-in-law; and two great nieces.

 

 Paul is survived by his two Sisters, Dawn Danglade, Lori (Greg) Lentz; one brother, David (Lynn) Elliott, three nieces, Maria (Josh) Naville, Abby Lentz, Annette (Doug) Swetnam, three nephews, Bryan Elliott, Alex Lentz, John (Shelia) Danglade, one great niece, Alex Brauhn, two great nephews, Oliver Naville, Kirby Danglade; one aunt, Lois Morris; Debbie (John) Sims, Kay (Bob) Ginter, as well a several beloved friends and family members.

A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. on , July 01, 2021, at Love Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until time of service on the same day. Interment will be at Horner’s Chapel Cemetery in Fredericksburg, IN at a later date. Cremation was chosen. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Scooters name to the Harrison County Humane Society at 3132 Hope Lane NW, Corydon, IN 47112, or the Palmyra Volunteer Fire Department at 595 Main Street Ne Palmyra, IN.
