Paul Allen

Palmyra, IN: Paul Harold Allen, age 80, passed away on Thursday, February 13, 2020, at Harrison Health Care Center, Corydon, IN, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Marengo, IN to the late Percy and Nina Lahue Allen. Paul married Rebecca (Tibbs) Allen on January 25, 1973. He worked in the textile industry for 40+ years and was an entrepreneur. He attended Northside Christian Church. Paul enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing and especially spending time with his grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Bob and Bill Allen and three sisters, Eunice Jenkins, Fern Alexander and Bonnie Jones.

Survivors include his wife, Rebecca (Tibbs) Allen; six children, Rex (Ramona) Allen, Tina (Rick) England, Kristie (Jay) Clark, Cindy (Harry) Clegg, Joe (Kim) Allen, Paula (Mike) Turner; one brother, Joe (Pat) Allen; and two sisters, Betty Breeding and Ann Apple; 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

The Funeral Service will be at 11 a.m. on Monday, February 17, 2020 at Love Funeral Home in Palmyra with burial in Palmyra Cemetery. Visitation will be on Sunday, February 16, 2020, from 4 - 7 p.m. and from 10 a.m. until time of the service on Monday.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that you donate to your favorite charity in Paul's name.
