Patricia Joyce (Baumann) Haub

Patricia Joyce “Pat” Haub, 88, passed away on Thursday, May 9, 2024. She spent her life helping and taking care of children, with 28 years spent as a teacher’s aide at Morgan Elementary and a lifetime spent looking after family members and her beloved grandchildren. She loved to spend her days watching TV (especially the Hallmark Channel) and talking to friends and family on the phone.
She is preceded in death my her husband of 60 years Lowell “Bud” Haub; parents William and Mabel Baumann; brothers William Baumann, Richard Baumann, Melvin Baumann, and Alvin Baumann; sisters Rita Haub, Ruth Davis, and Mildred Barmore; and her grandson Wyatt P. Haub. She is survived by her two daughters Ellen Haub of Georgetown and Elaine Haub of Sellersburg; a son, Paul Haub (Tammy) of New Albany; and two grandchildren, Nicholas Eve and Allison Ebling (Christopher).

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial gifts to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, one of Pat’s favorite charities. A private burial will be held at Palmyra Cemetery.
