Norma Jean Scott, age 69, of New Salisbury, IN, passed away peacefully on December 10, 2024. She was born on February 28, 1955, in Louisville, KY, to Cecil and Lula Mae (Dejarnett) Westmoreland.
Norma was a devoted housewife and a loving mother. She married David Scott of Pekin, IN, and together they shared many years of love and companionship. Norma had a deep affection for her dog, Abby, and cherished every moment spent with her sisters, whom she held close to her heart.
She was preceded in death by her father, Cecil Westmoreland; her mother, Lula Mae Westmoreland; her sister, Joanne; her brother, Bobby; and her beloved husband, David Scott.
Norma is survived by her sisters, Pat, Kathy, Susie, Brenda, and Judy; her brother, Donnie; her sons, Mark Scott and Brandon Scott; and her grandsons, Holden Scott, Braiden Scott, and Bryson Scott. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 13, 2024, from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., and again on Saturday, December 14, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Love Funeral Home in Palmyra, IN. A funeral service will follow on Saturday, December 14, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. Burial will take place at the Greenville Cemetery in Greenville, IN.
