Norma Ellen (Losson) House

Norma Ellen (Losson) House, 95, of Palmyra, IN, passed away on July 23, 2022 at Baptist Floyd Hospital surrounded by her family.  

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at Martinsburg Church of Christ, 4505 E. Borden Road, Pekin, IN 47165, with burial to follow at Martinsburg Cemetery.  Visitation will be held from 10 AM to 2 PM on Wednesday at the church.  Love Funeral Home of Palmyra, IN, has been entrusted with the funeral arrangements.  

Norma was born on September 21, 1926 in Martinsburg, IN, to the late Merle and Susie Losson.  She was a homemaker who loved her family, and worked as a cook at Morgan Elementary.  She enjoyed spending her free time gardening, cooking and sewing.  

She was preceded in death by her husband, Warner House; three siblings, Norman “Bud”, Randall and Virginia; and four sons-in-law, Gary Simpson, Al Rudolph, Joe Wells and Rick Saylor.

Norma is survived by her four daughters, Linda Rudolph, Brenda Wells, Sally Saylor and Mary Marshall (Jack); grandchildren, Steve Wells (Jennifer), Stephanie Rudolph, Marcella Gadd (John), Kellen Marshall (Cari), Stacy Conde (Arlan), Clayton Marshall (Erin), Leslie Stewart, Lissa Caldwell, Gwen MacIntosh (Michael), and Ariel Saylor; 10 great-grandchildren, Tyler Gadd, Spencer and Keaton Wells, Noah Stewart, Riley Caldwell, Cooper, Colston and Keira Marshall, Bayleigh and Ezekiel Conde, and one on the way, MacIntosh; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers please make memorial contributions to the Child Place of Jeffersonville, IN.  Envelopes will be available at the funeral services.
