Norbett Lynn Pike Sr.

Norbett Lynn Pike, a man of steadfast dedication and unwavering work ethic, bid farewell to this world on April 26, 2024, at the age of 79. Born on April 23, 1945, to his parents in Columbia, KY, Norbert's life journey was marked by resilience, hard work, and profound love for his family and community.

Norbett's professional journey led him to a fulfilling career as a Maintenance Technician for Pillsbury. Beyond the confines of his workplace, Norbett found solace and joy in the embrace of his beloved wife, Daisy Lincks, whom he married on August 22, 1970. Together, they built a life in Greenville, IN, enriched by shared experiences, laughter, and love.

A man of faith, Norbett was a cherished member of the Palmyra United Methodist Church, where his spirit found nourishment and fellowship. He found joy in simple pleasures, relishing the opportunity to explore the world through travel, watching University of Louisville and Kentucky basketball teams, and nurturing the sanctuary of his cherished home.

Norbett is preceded in death by his parents, six siblings, and stepson, Richard D. Bush.

He leaves behind a legacy of love and perseverance, survived by his devoted wife, Daisy E. Pike, one son Norbett Pike Jr., stepson Rodney D. Bush, great step grandson, Kollin Bush, brothers-in-law Ronald (Linda) Lincks and David (Judy) Lincks, and one sister-in-law, Patti (Jerry) Zimmerman. Their memories of his kindness, wisdom, and unwavering support will forever illuminate their lives.

In honoring Norbett's wishes, cremation will take place, followed by a graveside service at 12pm on May 11, 2024 in the Martinsburg Cemetery in Martinsburg, IN.
