Nicholas Brian Parker

Palmyra, IN, Nicholas Brian “Simba” Parker, age 22, passed away on Saturday, May 07, 2022. He was born on August 10, 1999, in Louisville, KY, to Jason Brian and Fatisha (Newman) Parker. Nic was a 2018, North Harrison High School graduate. He worked for the Lucas Oil Company in Corydon, IN. Nic enjoyed watching Philadelphia Eagles Football, listening to MGK Music, cooking, and being with friends. He loved to spend time with his family and was known to always have a smile, a genuine Laugh to warm your heart, a good word, and was a man that never met a stranger.  

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Donnita Mae Larouere, Thomas Ezikiel Newman; great- grandparents, Irven and Edna Holliday.

 Nic is survived by his parents, one brother Jason Michael (Jessica) Parker; one niece, Journey Reign Parker; two nephews, Jaxyson Cole Parker, Juliyan Grey Parker; two grandparents, Ruby D. Parker, Eddie W. Parker, honorary grandparents, Terry and Dwight Barnette; several aunts, uncles, cousin, and friends; as well as one faithful companion “Nala”.

Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday May 12, 2022 at Love Funeral Home in Palmyra, IN. Visitation will be on the same day from 10 a.m. until time of service.
