Nancy Lucresia (Prechtel) Seipp

Palmyra, IN, Nancy Lucresia (Prechtel) Seipp, age, 80, passed peacefully surrounded by her family on April, 03 2021 at Harrison Springs Health and Rehab in Corydon, IN. She was born in Louisville KY, on November 08, 1940 to John and Zelda (Alvey) Prechtel. Nancy married James Edward Seipp on October 03, 1959. She was a school bus driver for 44 years, working for the North Harrison School Corporation, and was proud to be the first female driver at that school. Nancy enjoyed playing cards, baking, but most of all she loved spending time with her family.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; one daughter, Lucresia; and one brother Clyde Prechtel.

Nancy is survived by her three daughters, Lori (Kevin) Smith, Kim Seipp, Stacy (Paul) Pitman; one son Monnie Seipp; two sisters, Bonnie Copass, Gwendolen (Bruce) Receveur; one brother Johnny (Diana) Prechtel; four grandchildren, Tony (Shauna) Smith, Adam (Jessica) Smith, Alex (Heather) Smith, Daisy Pitman; seven great-grandchildren, Abby Smith, June Smith, Teddy Smith, Cooper Smith, Frankie Smith, Emma Smith, and Dandelion Smith.

Funeral service will be held 11a.m Wednesday April 07, 2021 at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Bradford, IN. Visitation will be held on Tuesday April 06, 2021 from 4p.m. to 8p.m. at Love Funeral Home in Palmyra, IN, and again on Wednesday April 07,2021 at St Michael’s Church from 9 a.m. until the time of service. Interment will be at St. Michael’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Nancy’s name to St. Michael’s Catholic Church at 11400 Farmers Ln NE, Greenville, IN 47124 or Kindred Hospice Foundation at 3350 Riverwood Parkway SE, Suite 1400 Atlanta GA 30339.
