Monica Diane Magner, 66, of Hardinsburg, IN, passed away on May 16, 2024. Born on November 23, 1957, to James Rodger Durbin and Mary (Ray) Wright of Louisville, KY, Monica was a devoted homemaker and caregiver. She found joy in thrifting, painting, crafting flower arrangements, decorating her home, and watching true detective TV shows, but her greatest happiness came from her love of Jesus and being with her family.
Monica is preceded in death by her parents; step-father, Chester Wright, and her niece, Tami Jo Durbin.
She is survived by her siblings: Karen Courtney, Jeffrey (Donna) Durbin, Melissa (Jerry "Bub") Wilson, Stacey Guthrie, Steven (Stella) Durbin, and Sherry Musci. She is also survived by her son, Matthew (Joni) Magner, her daughter, Heather (Justin) Adkins, her grandchildren: Shelby Magner, Kaegan (Kailee) Magner, Xaviar Boutz, Gracie Magner, Makayla Boutz, Joshua Adkins, Jaren Adkins, and her great-grandson, Braxton Magner.
Visitation will be held from 12pm to 3pm on Monday, May 20, 2024, at Love Funeral Home, Palmyra, IN, with funeral services following at 3pm.
Burial will take place in Kay's Chapel Cemetery in Fredericksburg, IN.
Monica will be dearly missed by all who knew her, but her love and legacy will forever live on in the hearts of her family and friends. May she rest in peace.
