Michele Holleen (Moore) Silverthorn

Michele Holleen (Moore) Silverthorn, age 78, a cherished resident of Pekin, Indiana, passed away on December 3, 2023. She was born on October 18, 1945, in Salem, Indiana, and was the beloved wife of the late Junior Silverthorn.

Michele was a devoted member of the First Baptist Church of Pekin, where she found solace and community. Her life was a testament to the values of love, family, and faith. Michele found joy in spending precious moments with her friends and family, creating lasting memories that will be treasured by those who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband, leaving a void that will be felt by all who knew them together.

Michele is survived by her daughters, Annette Silverthorn, Linda Bush, and Sharon Losson, as well as her son, Billy Joe Silverthorn. Her legacy lives on through her grandchildren: Joey Silverthorn, Josh Silverthorn, Ciara Lawson, Ryan Bush, Trinity Harned, as well as several great-grandchildren. 

A visitation to honor Michele's life will be held on Wednesday, December 06, 2023, from 10 am to 1 pm at Love Funeral Home in Palmyra, Indiana. Following the visitation, funeral services will commence at 1 pm, and Michele will be laid to rest in the serene Martinsburg Cemetery.
