MaryAnn (Love) Pemberton

MaryAnn (Love) Pemberton, age 75, of Bloomington, Indiana, passed away peacefully on June 11, 2025.

She was born on January 9, 1950, in Campbellsburg, Indiana, to the late Harold and Edith (Maudlin) Love. A proud graduate of West Washington High School, Class of 1968, MaryAnn later earned her Bachelor of Arts in Nursing from Indiana University in 1984. She dedicated many years of her life to caring for others as a nurse at Dunn Memorial Hospital.

MaryAnn was a resident of Bloomington and a devoted fan of Indiana University basketball and also the Cincinnati Reds. She found joy in trips to the beach, the companionship of her beloved cats, and most of all, spending quality time with her children and grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Jim Love; and her granddaughter, Alexis Pemberton.

MaryAnn is survived by her daughter, Cindy Pemberton; her son, Joseph (Colette) Pemberton; her brother, John Love; her sister, Molly Simmons; grandchildren: Brittany (Kenny Sr.) Smith, Madelyn (Brendon) Fields, Lucas Pemberton, and Benjarmin Pemberton.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Love Funeral Home in Palmyra, Indiana.
Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Interment will be at Palmyra Cemetery. 

MaryAnn’s legacy of kindness, compassion, and love for her family will be cherished by all who knew her.
