Margie H. (Fessel) Lasley

Bradford, IN, Margie H. (Fessel) Lasley, age 98, passed away at her caregivers home on April 04, 2021. She was born on June 04, 1922 in Bradford, Indiana to Aaron Gephart and Jesse (Byrn) Fessel. Margie married Kenneth Walter Lasley on October 18, 1946. She worked at the Olin Powder Plant in Charlestown, IN during the war. Margie was a member of the Braford Euchre Club and enjoyed, playing cards, quilting, sewing, and spending time with her family.  

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; two brothers, Heramn Fessel, Coen Fessel; two great-grandchildren, Megan Kincaid, and Nila Smith.

Margie is survived by her daughter, Barbara Lasley Kincaid of Bradford, IN; two sons, Randy (Kate) Lasley of New Salisbury, Stephen Lynn Lasley of Saline, MI; seven grandchildren, Alva (Lisa) Kincaid Jr., Jennifer Smith, Jerry D. (Selena) Kincaid, Stephen M. Lasley, Tracy M. Lasley, Randi R. Lasley, Chris (Alicia) Lasley; seven great-granchildren, Evan Lasley, Kyndal Lasley, Cooper Lasley, Aaron Kincaid, Shayla Smith, Keaton Kincaid, Danielle Kincaid; two step great-grandchildren, Dillion Wiseman and Brandon Holtman; and three great-great-grandchildren, Jayce, Luna and Jude Smith.

Funeral service will be held at 1p.m. on Thursday April 8, 2021 at Love Funeral Home in Palmyra, IN. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Wednesday April 7, 2021 from 4p.m. to 8p.m. and again on Thursday April 8, 2021 from 11a.m. until time of service. Interment will be at St, Michaels Cemetery in Bradford, IN. In Lieu of flowers donations can be made in Margie’s memory to : WHAS Crusade For Children 520 West Chestnut Street Louisville, KY 40202.  The family would like to thank Hospice and the many caregivers, including Lani and Zoran Parker who cared for Mom the last few years.
