Manuel R. "Johnny" Cervantes, age 80, of Fredericksburg passed away peacefully at his home on March 26, 2023.
Manuel was born on January 13, 1943 to Concepcion and Guadalupe (Garcia) Cervantes in Waynoka, OK. He Married Mary (Bir) Cervantes on July 26, 1969 and they enjoyed over 50 years together. Manuel worked for Ford Motor Company for 36 years. He was a United States Army Veteran. Manuel was a member of St. Michael's Church in Bradford, IN. He lived in Fredericksburg, IN. Manuel enjoyed gardening, landscaping, woodworking, and watching Oklahoma Sooners Football. He Loved spending time with his friends and family.
Manuel is survived by Son, Jeremy Cervantes, Son, Jason (Sharon) Cervantes, Granddaughter, Tiffany Cervantes, Granddaughter, Makein (Sawyer) Thixton, and Grandson, Brenden Grimes.
He is preceded in death by his wife Mary Cervantes; his parents, and two brothers, Valentine and Lucio Cervantes
Cremation was chosen with burial to be held at Kay's Chapel Cemetery on a later date.
