Lucy Helen (Price) Sheldon

Lucy Helen (Price) Sheldon, age 75, of Greenville, IN, passed away peacefully on August 27, 2025.

She was born on September 22, 1949, in Campbellsville, KY, to the late Willie Elgin and Cleo Vertilee (Skaggs) Price. Lucy dedicated many years of her life working as a Supervisor at Exide Corporation in Corydon, IN. In June of 1978, she married the love of her life, Gary Sheldon, and together they built a home and life in Greenville, IN.

Lucy was a member of Greenville Christian Church. She had a passion for creativity and found joy in sewing, crafts, gardening, and designing beautiful floral arrangements that reflected her warm and caring nature. She loved her pets and cherished the companionship they brought into her life.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Gary Sheldon; daughter, Tammy Johnson; son, Daniel (Ashley) Sheldon; sister, Wanda Johnson; brother, Leo (Theresa) Price; grandchildren, Brandon (Kelly Thacher) Lilly, Bryan Lilly, Bethany Lilly, Grace Sheldon, and Madelyn Sheldon; as well as extended family and dear friends.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, at Love Funeral Home in Palmyra, IN. A funeral service will follow at 4:00 p.m. Burial will take place at Greenville Cemetery
