Larry Wayne Satterwhite

Salem, IN, Larry Wayne Satterwhite, age 77, passed away at his daughter’s home on Thursday, February 17, 2022. He was born in Finchville, KY, to Delbert Verner and Marietta (Rodgers) Satterwhite on August 05, 1944. Larry married Leona Mae (Boston) Satterwhite on June 10, 1966. He graduated from Salem High School with the class of 64. Larry worked for the Smith Cabinet and Child Craft Companies. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, working on old cars, as well as collecting knives and guns. Larry loved spending time with his friends and family.

He is preceded in death by his parents, One son Larry Satterwhite Jr.; one son-in-law, Joe Bradley, one brother, Stanley Satterwhite; and one sister, Darleen Sabens.

Larry is survived by his wife; two daughters, Malissia Bradley, Angela (James) Kinney; one son Chris E. Satterwhite; Nine grandchildren; fifth teen great-grandchildren; one brother, Michael (Sally) Satterwhite, and three sisters, Janet Gay, Joyce Newton and Patsy Hauger.

Funeral service will be held at 12 p.m. on Wednesday February 23, 2022, at Love Funeral Home in Palmyra, IN. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 22, 2022, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. and again on Wednesday, February 23, 2022, from 10 a.m. until time of service. Interment will be at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Fredericksburg, IN. The family would like to thank all who cared for Larry, especially the nurses at Hoosier Uplands Hospice and Meadowview Healthcare.
