Kathleen Scott

Kathleen "Babe" Scott, 89, of Floyds Knobs, IN, passed away peacefully at her son's home on July 26, 2020 surrounded by her family. She was born on October 24, 1930 to Roger and Iva (Heuser) Smith. Kathleen married Gerald Scott on October 26, 1947. She worked and retired from the Floyds Knobs post office. Kathleen was a member of Chapel Hill Christian Church, where she served and taught Sunday school for over fifty years. She loved crocheting, baking, and spending time with her family.
Kathleen is preceded in death by her husband, parents, and two sisters Evelyn Frederick and Mary Jane Cobb.
She is survived by her son Ronald (Nora) Scott, three grandchildren Brad (Brandi) Scott, Todd (Bo) Scott, and Katie (Jon) Uhl, as well as seven great-grandchildren Gavin Scott, Ethan Scott, Ashley Scott, Ashton Uhl, Brynlee Uhl, Cason Uhl, and Cruz Uhl.
Funeral services will be held at Love Funeral Home on Thursday July 30, 2020 at 11 a.m. Visitation will be at Love Funeral Home on Wednesday July 29, 2020 from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. and again on Thursday July 30, 2020 from 10 a.m. to time of service. Burial will follow services at Chapel Hill Christian Church cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Chapel Hill Christian Church and Hosparus of Southern Indiana.
