Judy Marie (Sears) Thompson

Judy Marie (Sears) Thompson, age 63, of Palmyra, Indiana, passed away on December 6, 2025.

She was born on November 8, 1962, in Corydon, Indiana, to Arthur and Doris (Papoy) Sears. On May 19, 1984, she married the love of her life, George Thompson, and together they made their home in New Salisbury, Indiana.

Judy enjoyed the simple joys of life—watching her favorite TV shows, traveling, playing Bingo, and spending meaningful time with her cherished family and friends. Her warm spirit and kind heart will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her father, Arthur Sears; her husband, George Thompson; and her brother, Charles Sears.

Left to honor her memory are her mother, Doris Sears; her sons, Ethan (Susan) Thompson and Matthew Thompson; her aunts, Margaret Winot and Willy Sears; as well as extended family and friends who loved her dearly.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 11, 2025, at Love Funeral Home in Palmyra, Indiana.
Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Burial will take place at Palmyra Cemetery.
