Joseph Kenneth Jacobi

He was born on December 19,1932 to Edward and Mary Catherine (Uhl) Jacobi in Bradford, IN. Joseph  worked as a Line Operator for General Electric, retiring after 37 years of service. On May 15, 1954 he married Lillian Senn. Joseph was a Veteran of the United States Army, serving during the Korean War. He was lifelong member of St. Michael Catholic Church in Bradford, IN. Joseph was an avid St. Louis Cardinals Baseball fan. He enjoyed watching baseball, camping, gardening, supporting his grandchildren in school sports, and spending time with family and friends.

Joseph is preceded in death by his father, Edward Jacobi; Mother, Mary Catherine Jacobi; Son, Jerry Jacobi; Four Brothers, Harold Jacobi, Clement Jacobi, Norbert Jacobi, Raymond Jacobi; Sister, Mary Rita Jacobi.  

Joseph is survived by his loving wife of 71 years, Lillian Mae Jacobi, Son, David (Brenda) Jacobi, Daughter, Donna (Dave) Miller, Son, Thomas (Cynthia) Jacobi, Daughter, Janette (Chuck) Fetz, Son, Deacon John (Carmen) Jacobi, Brother, Melvin Jacobi, Grandson, Shane Miller Grandson, Shaun (Megan) Miller, Granddaughter, Jessica (Tony) Bary, Grandson, Shanon (Desirae) Miller, Grandson, Steven  Barnett, Grandson, Joshua (Rachel) Jacobi, Granddaughter, Julie (Mike) Rudy, Grandson, Jeremy (Robin) Jacobi, Granddaughter, Kimberly (Joe)  Basch, Grandson, Adam (Caitlyn) Fetz, Granddaughter, Sarah (Dillon) Gaida, Grandson, Dennis (Kayla) Fetz, Granddaughter, Stephanie (Jared) Willis, Granddaughter, Jasmine Jacobi, Granddaughter, Jillian Jacobi, twenty-four great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews. 

Visitation will be held from 2pm to 8pm on Thursday May 15, 2025 at Love Funeral Home, Palmyra, IN, and again on Friday May 16, 2025 from 9:30am to 11am at St Michael Catholic Church in Bradford, IN
     
Funeral Mass will be held at 11am on Friday May 16, 2025 at St. Michael Catholic Church in Bradford, IN.
 
Burial will take place in the St. Michael's Cemetery.
