Jeffrey Blaine Rowley

Jeffrey Blaine Rowley, age 66, of Pekin, Indiana, passed away on August 29, 2025.

He was born on July 15, 1959, in Corydon, Indiana, to the late Harry and Estelle (Ferg) Rowley. On December 12, 1980, he married Claudia Stone, and together they built a life and family in Pekin.

Jeffrey was a dedicated caretaker of the “Homeplace,” and found joy in spending time with his family and friends-especially in the comfort of his garage, where laughter and good company were always welcome.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Harry "Sonny" Paul Rowley, Gordon Rowley, and Richard "Butch" Rowley; and one sister, Doris Eaves.

Jeffrey is survived by his beloved wife, Claudia Rowley; son, Jeffrey (Jessica) Rowley; daughters, Samantha Rowley and Rebecca Thomas; grandchildren, Nicholas Rowley, Hannah Rowley, Abigail Fossee, Hunter Rowley, and Emily Rowley; siblings, Barbara Rowe, William (Nettie) Rowley, Patricia Heeke, Lucille Rowley, and Cynthia Rowley-Howell

Visitation will be held from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, and again from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Thursday, September 4, 2025, at Love Funeral Home in Palmyra, Indiana.

Funeral services will follow at 1:00 PM on Thursday. Cremation will take place following the service.

Jeffrey will be remembered for his warm heart, strong work ethic, as well as the love and wisdom he shared with those closest to him.
