Jeffery Lane Kochert

Georgetown, IN, Jeffery Lane Kochert, age 54, passed away on January 22, 2022, at Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany, IN. Jeff was born in Louisville, KY, on February 12, 1967, to Raymond and Cara (Harmon) Kochert. He worked for Koetter Woodworking in Starlight, IN. Jeff was an avid hunter, enjoyed working puzzles, and watching NASCAR.

He is preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.

Jeff is survived by his daughter, Ashley Kochert; granddaughter, Halie Kochert; one sister, Angela Kochert; two brothers, Scott Kochert, and Derek Kochert; several nieces and nephews; as well as one faithful companion “Kiko”.   

Funeral service will be held at 12 p.m. on Thursday January 27, 2022, at Love Funeral Home in Palmyra, IN. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday January 26, 2022, and again on Thursday January 27, 2022, from 10 a.m. until time of service at Love Funeral Home. Cremation was chosen and will follow the services.
