James Monnie Seipp

Corydon, IN, James Monnie Seipp, age 58, passed away Thursday November 04, 2021 at Harrison Healthcare in Corydon, IN. Monnie was born in Corydon, IN, on February 23, 1963 to James Edward and Nancy (Prechtel) Seipp. He graduated from North Harrison class of 1981. Monnie attended Georgetown College in Georgetown KY. He enjoyed the Courier Journal Crossword Puzzles, reading, and caring for his cats.

Monnie is preceded in death by his parents; grandparents, John and Zelda Prechtel, Charles and Cecilia Seipp.

He is survived by his three sisters, Lori (Kevin)Smith, Kim Seipp, Stacy (Paul) Pitman; three nephews, Tony (Shauna) Smith, Adam (Jessica) Smith, Alex (Heather) Smith; one niece, Daisy Pitman; several great nieces and nephews; as well as one faithful companion “Fluffy”.

Funeral Mass will be held at St. Michaels Catholic Church in Bradford, IN at 10 a.m. on Friday November 12, 2021. Burial will follow the service at St. Michaels Cemetery. Cremation was chosen with Love Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Monnie’s name to St. Michaels Catholic Church at 11400 Farmers Ln NE, Greenville, IN 47124, or Hosparus of Southern Indiana, at 502 Hausfeldt Ln, New Albany , IN 47150.
