Greenville, IN Helen Maxine Warren, age 92, passed away on Tuesday, June 23, 2020 at Lincoln Hills health Center in New Albany, IN. She was born on November 10, 1927 in Greenville, IN, to John R. and Alice Mae (Cunningham) Thompson. Helen married Park G. Warren on October 26, 1947. Helen worked for several businesses including A&P Groceries where she was an office manager. She was a loving mother who enjoyed farming, taking care of her cows, gardening, watching IU Basketball, and spending time with her family and friends.
Helen was preceded in death by Husband, her parents, and brother Robert Thompson.
She is survived by one son Rick (Theresa) Warren, a daughter Vickie (Steve) Shuffitt, one sister, Nancy Crecelius; two grandchildren Stacy Warren, and Thaddeus R. Warren, and three great - grandchildren Maxwell Warren, Theodore Warren and Talyn Jackson.
Funeral service will be Saturday, June 27, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at Love Funeral Home in Palmyra with burial in the Greenlawn Cemetery in Greenville, IN. Visitation will be from 4 pm to 8 p.m. on Friday, June 26, 2020 and from 12 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 27, 2020.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made in Helen's name to Greenville United Methodist Church at 9449 Harrison St., Greenville, IN 47124.
