Glenith "Wilcox" Tweedy

Pekin, IN: Glenith Lucille (Wilcox) Tweedy, age 85, passed away Thursday December 19, 2019 at Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany, IN. She was born in Glasgow, KY on May 20, 1934 to Azel and Luvada (Sneed) Wilcox. Glenith was a homemaker and member of New Testament Christian Church in Greenville. She enjoyed Thrift shopping, gardening, and spending time with friends and family. Glenith is
preceded in death by her parents, husband, one daughter Debbie Black, two sons
Joseph Tweedy, and Johnny Tweedy, as well as one brother, and six sisters. Glenith is survived by Five sons Thomas
(LouAnn) Tweedy, Phillip (Karen) Tweedy, Anthony (Beth) Tweedy, Gregory (Kathy)
Tweedy, and Chris (Felinza) Tweedy, a son in law Tony Black, as well as
seventeen grandchildren, and several great grandchildren. Funeral
service will be 1 p.m. Friday December 27, 2019 at the New Testament Church in
Greenville, IN. Visitation will be the same day from 11:00 a.m. till time of service
at the church. Cremation
was chosen by the family and Love Funeral Home in Palmyra is in charge of the
arrangements.
