Frances Elizabeth (Lafever) Redfern

Frances Redfern, age 83, of Hardinsburg, IN, passed away peacefully on March 10, 2023.

Frances was born on December 19, 1939 to Robert and Frances LaFever in Louisville, KY. She graduated from Ahrens Trade High School in Louisville, KY. She married Richard Redfern on January 24, 1978, and they were happily married for 40 years. Frances and Richard  lived in Hardinsburg, IN. She worked for the old Baptist Hospital in Louisville, Ky, Pinare Printing Company in Louisville, KY, and later owned and operated Frannies Diner in Palmyra, IN for fourteen years. Frances was a member of Hardinsburg Christian Church. She enjoyed reading, auctions, going to Roosters Hen House to socialize, but most of all she loved spending time with her grandkids. 

Frances is preceded in death by her Sister-in-law, Joyce Redfern; Father, Robert Lafever, Sr.; Mother, Frances Edds Duggins; Husband, Richard  Redfern; Daughter, Melissa  Redfern Adkins; Step Father, Charles  Duggins; Twin-.Brother, Robert  Lafever, Jr.; Father-in-law, Richard Redfern; Mother-in-law, Julie Redfern; Brother-in-law, Anthony Redfern; 

Frances is survived by her two Sons, Stoney (Linda) Keith, Son, Ricky Keith, Grandson, Josiah  Adkins, Granddaughter, Mackenzie Adkins, Grandson, Uriah Adkins, Son-in-law, Joe  Adkins, Sister-in-Law, Marcella Coomer, Brother-in-law, Tom Redfern, Sister-in-law, Sarah West, Brother-in-law, Bob  Redfern, and beloved nephew, Mike Redfern.

.Funeral Service will be held at 3pm on Tuesday March 14, 2023, at Love Funeral Home, in Palmyra, IN.
 Visitation will be held on the same day from 10am until time of service.
 Burial will take place in the Hardinsburg Cemetery in Hardinsburg, IN
