Evelyn Faye (Seigle) Dohoney, age 91, of Greenville, IN, passed away at her home on August 4, 2023.
Evelyn was born in Fern Creek, KY, on November 8, 1931 to Maynard and Nettie Seigle. She worked as a Tech One for Philip Morris. Evelyn married Bill Dohoney on September 01, 1967. She and Bill lived in Greenville, IN. Evelyn was a member of Indian Creek Baptist Church in Georgetown, IN. She enjoyed car races, gardening, canning, and spending time with her friends and family
Evelyn is preceded in death by her parents; husband; and two sons Joseph and Robert Colomb; as well as one granddaughter Tara Colomb.
She is survived by her two daughters, Betty (Daniel) Peak, Melinda (Bob) Lutz; son, Scott Dohoney; eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and several siblings, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 9am to 12pm on Wednesday August 9, 2023 at Love Funeral Home, Palmyra, IN.
Funeral services will be held on the same day at 12pm.
Interment will take place in Mount Washington KY, at the Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery .
In lieu of flowers a donation can be made in Evelyn's name to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
