Edward Paul Nordhoff, age 57, of New Salisbury, Indiana, went to be with his Heavenly Father on May 9, 2026.
Born on June 11, 1968, in New Albany, Indiana, Edward was the beloved son of Edward and Rita (Basinger) Nordhoff. He was a graduate of North Harrison High School, Class of 1986, and later earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology. Edward dedicated his career to serving others as a Lab Technician for Norton Clark.
On September 28, 1990, Edward married the love of his life, Tammy (Whitehouse) Nordhoff. Together, they built a life filled with love, faith, and family in New Salisbury, Indiana. Edward was a lifelong member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Bradford, Indiana, where his faith remained an important part of his life.
Edward found his greatest joy in his family. He loved supporting his children in all their activities, working on the family farm, and spending peaceful moments sitting on the porch. His quiet strength, dedication, and love for his family will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his beloved grandchild, Fulton Weyer.
Edward is survived by his loving parents, Edward and Rita Nordhoff; his devoted wife of 35 years, Tammy Nordhoff; his son, Christopher Nordhoff; his daughters, Kaylee Nordhoff, Abigail (Anthony) Weyer, and Isabelle Nordhoff; his sister, Tamara Nordhoff; and his cherished granddaughter, Ariya.
Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 14, 2026, at Love Funeral Home in Palmyra, Indiana.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, May 15, 2026, at St. Michael’s Catholic Church, 11400 Farmers Lane, Greenville, Indiana 47124.
Burial will follow at St. Michael’s Cemetery.
