Earlene (Steel) Ayres

Palmyra, IN, Earlene (Steel) Ayres, age 65, passed away at home on Sunday, February 20, 2022. She was born in Oxnard California on July 12, 1956, to Earl and Betty (Poland) Steel. Earlene enjoyed gardening, crochet, and cooking. She loved spending time with her family, girl time with her granddaughter and watching her grandsons play sports.  

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Earlene is survived by her son, Jerrad Ayres; two daughters, Amanda (Wayne) Webb, Tabbatha Ayres; six grandchildren, Cameron (Paige) Ayres, Cody Ayres, Brooklyn Ayres, Brenden Ayres, Austen Ayres, Dawson Ayres; two brothers, Clifford Steel, Rick Steel; two sisters, Darlene Thompson, Carlitta Simpson; and one faithful companion “Chloe”.

Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, February 25, 2022, at Love Funeral Home in Palmyra, IN. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, February 24, 2022, and again on Friday, February 25, 2022, from 10 a.m. until time of service at Love Funeral Home. Interment will be at Palmyra Cemetery in Palmyra, IN.
