Palmyra, IN, Doris Jean (Butler) Swann, age 83, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Saturday March 13, 2021 at Baptist Health Floyd Hospital in New Albany, IN. She was born on July 05, 1937 in Ohio to Douglas and Lucille (Keeling) Butler Tichenor. Doris had a long career working for several different factories. She was a member of the Grace Tabernacle Assembly of God. Doris enjoyed reading, painting, cross-word puzzles, and poetry. She was a outgoing person who loved to spend time with friends and family.

Doris is preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her Husband, Jerry Swann; one daughter, Deana Sieg, two sons, Jerry (Regina Marion) Campbell, Jerry Johnson; four granddaughters; four great- grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; two half-brothers; and one faithful companion White Feathers.

A private service will be held later. Love Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
