Doris Jean (Nash) Cummins

Corydon, IN, Doris Jean. (Nash) Cummins, age 89, passed away on April 10, 2022, at Harrison Healthcare in Corydon, IN. She was born in Louisville, KY, on July 09, 1932, to Walter and Flossie (Robinson) Nash. Jeanie married Martin Cummins on February 09, 1951. She worked and retired from JCPS School Corporation in Louisville, KY. Jeanie enjoyed growing flowers, caring for her dogs, and birds. 

Jeanie is preceded in death by her parents; husband; and sister, Vicky Payne.

 She is survived by her two sons, Jeffrey (Debra) Cummins, Doug (Karen) Cummins; two sisters, JoAnn (Henry) Shirley, Marie Phillips; one brother, Gary Nash; as well as five grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be held at 1 p.m. on, Monday April 18, 2022, at Love Funeral Home in Palmyra, IN. Visitation will be held on the same day from 11 a.m. until time of service. Cremation was chosen.
