Dora Zimmerman

Palmyra,
IN: Dora "Doddie" Zimmerman, age 96, passed away Thursday,
January 2, 2020 at Diversicare of Providence in New Albany, In. She was born on August 11, 1923 in
Jeffersonville, IN to the late Edgar and Hazel Troxel Elliott. Doddie attend New Albany High School. She was the wife of Russell Zimmerman, who
preceded her in death. She enjoyed
reading, doing puzzle books and most of all, spending time with her
family. Besides her
husband, Russell Zimmerman, and her parents, preceding her in death are
brothers Pella Francis Elliott, Deward Elliott and Marcy Elliott.She is
survived by her two sons, James (Mary) Zimmerman and Larry (Darlene) Zimmerman;
sister Lois Dean Morris; four grandchildren, Hope (Joel) Bowen, Julie (Jeff)
Richardson, Jamie Zimmerman, Jay (Deborah) Zimmerman; 7 great-grandchildren and
6 great-great-grandchildren.Funeral services
will be Monday, January 6, 2020 at 11:00 a.m.
Visitation will be Sunday, January 5, 2020 from 2 p.m. - 8 p.m. and again
on Monday, January 6, 2020 from 9:00 a.m. until time of the funeral.
