Cynthia June (Nikirk) Weathers

Cynthia June (Nikirk) Weathers, age 68, of Georgetown, IN, peacefully departed this world and entered her heavenly home on September 15, 2024.

Born on July 3, 1956, in Bedford, IN, Cynthia was the daughter of Delvin Nikirk and Doris (Bridwell) Beasley. Over a career spanning more than three decades, Cynthia dedicated herself to the field of health care as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), demonstrating unwavering compassion and commitment.

Cynthia married Ralph Weathers, who preceded her in death, as did her beloved mother, Doris Beasley. Cynthia’s life was filled with love for her family and a devotion to her passions. She found joy in crocheting and in the company of her dogs.

Cynthia leaves behind a legacy of love, remembered fondly by her father, Delvin Nikirk; her sons, Thomas (Jean) Wright and Ralph (Melinda) Weathers, Jr.; her daughter, Jessica (Jeffrey) Rowley; and her siblings, Shannon Burnett, Mitch Beasley, John Mark Nikirk, and Kathy Shaw. Her memory will also be cherished by her grandchildren: Duncan Early, Kaela Wright, Morgan Higdon, Jordan Weathers, Nicholas Rowley, and Hannah Rowley, as well as three great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Monday, September 23, 2024, at Love Funeral Home in Palmyra, IN. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m. Cremation was chosen, with interment to take place at Marengo Cemetery in Marengo, IN.
