Cylina Frances (Corbin) Zink

Cylina Frances Corbin Zink of Fredericksburg, Indiana passed away on Monday, December 1, 2025 at the age of 89.
Born in Columbia, Kentucky on April 11, 1936, the youngest of eight children of AB Corbin and Emma Triplett Corbin, all of whom precede her in death.

Cylina graduated from Adair County High School and soon made her way to Louisville, KY where she met Buford Leo “Boo” Zink. They were married on August 26, 1955 and shortly after, made their life long home in Fredericksburg. Buford preceded her in death on July 10, 2010.

Cylina was a member of the former Mount Carmel United Methodist Church where she was active in many roles during the church’s existence.

She was a retired District Sales Manager for Avon products. During her 25 plus years with Avon, she was a six time Circle of Excellence Manager winning trips to London, Switzerland, Hong Kong, China, Hawaii, and many cruises, all of which she enjoyed. Cylina loved to travel, enjoyed growing a garden and canning vegetables, but most of all, spending time with her family and friends.

Cylina was a member of the Order of Eastern Star Salem Chapter 286, having served as past Worthy Matron and several roles throughout her membership. A Ritual of the Order of the Eastern Star services will be performed at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, December 8, 2025 at Love Funeral Home in Palmyra, IN.

Surviving are her children, Barry (Melissa) Zink of Lanesville, IN; Michael (Lisa Schmidt) Zink of Fredericksburg and Carolyn (Scott Peters) Zink-Agnew of Fredericksburg. Cylina was “Granny” to nine grandchildren, two of which precedes her in death, Kendra Zink and Catherine Zink, and 16 great grandchildren.

The family would also like to thank the following for helping in the care of Cylina. Indiana Masonic Home, Sherry Courtney, Sue Gabaree and Tonya Kaelin. We are forever grateful for the love and care you showed her.

In lieu of flowers, donations can also be made in Cylina Zink’s name and mailed to Mt. Carmel Cemetery at 6906 South Bud Miller Road, Salem, IN 47167.

Officiating the service will be Pastor Wilbur Stone.

Visitation will be on Monday, December 08, 2025 from 3:00 PM-8:00 PM and again on Tuesday, December 09, 2025 from 10:00 AM-11:00 AM.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, December 09, 2025 at 11:00 AM.
