Crystal Elane Hale

Crystal Elane Hale, age 42, of Palmyra, Indiana, passed away on August 20, 2024. She was born on February 2, 1982, to Richard M. and Aggie (Gentry) Hale in Louisville, Kentucky. She attended Corydon High School, Crystal devoted much of her life to participating in the Special Olympics, where she competed in various events, including bowling and basketball, for over 25 years.

Crystal's enthusiasm for life was evident in all she did. She had a deep love for animals, enjoyed attending church, and cherished spending time with her family. Her vibrant spirit and joyful presence touched everyone she met, and she was deeply loved by all who knew her.

Crystal is preceded in death by her grandparents. 

She is survived by her parents, Richard M. and Aggie Hale; her sister, Tabitha Hale; her brothers, Richard Hale Jr. (Jessica), W.C. Hale (Tabatha), and Duane Conway (Vivian); as well as several nieces and nephews and many beloved friends.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 25, 2024, from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., and again on Monday, August 26, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Love Funeral Home, Palmyra, Indiana. Funeral services will follow on Monday, August 26, 2024, at 12:00 p.m. at Love Funeral Home. Burial will take place at Central Barren Cemetery.
