Cheryl Lee Nevil

Cheryl  "Sherri" Lee Nevil, age 54, of Palmyra, Indiana, passed away on May 9, 2025.

She was born on July 8, 1970, in Louisville, Kentucky, to Douglas Sr. and Carlene (Harvey) Nevil. On June 2, 1988, she married the love of her life, Frankie Pierce, and together they built a life in Louisville, KY. Cheryl was a devoted mother and grandmother who found her greatest joy in caring for her daughter and grandchildren. Her love for family was evident in everything she did.

Cheryl was preceded in death by her father, Douglas Nevil, Sr.; her husband, Frankie Pierce; and her beloved dog and faithful companion, MaeMae.

She is survived by her mother, Carlene Nevil; her daughter, Shelby (Luke) Turben; her grandchildren, Emerald Murphy, Jackson Turben, Lukelynn Turben, and Luka Turben. She is also survived by her siblings: Douglas (Joanna) Nevil Jr., Josh (Paula) Nevil, Rhonda (Russel) Tussey, and Becky (Dana) Gilley, as well as numerous nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Friday, May 16, 2025, at Love Funeral Home in Palmyra, Indiana. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 p.m.

In accordance with her wishes, cremation will take place following the service.
