Obituary

Palmyra, IN, Charles Earl Walker, age 68, passed away at his home surrounded by his family on Tuesday May 03, 2022. He was born in Houston Texas on March 04, 1954 to William and Lola (Peper) Walker. He married Susan Elizabeth (Hiller) Walker on June 29, 1990. Charlie was a United States Army Airborne Ranger Veteran serving during the Vietnam war. He was a talented artist who enjoyed reading, fishing, animals, the outdoors, riding motorcycles, and children. Charlie was a great cook with the best fudge recipe.   

Charlie is preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Dorothy Cunningham; three brothers, Jerry Walker, Bill Walker, and Roger Walker.

He is survived by his wife; three children, Heather Bouvier, Zachary (Satako) Elkin, Casey (Tammy) Elkin; two grandchildren, Katherine Grace Bouvier, Ezekiel Elkin; several beloved nieces and nephews; one brother, Darrell (Helga) Cunningham; one sister, Linda Walker; as well as one faithful companion “Buster Kitten”.

A memorial Celebration will be scheduled at a later date. Cremation was chosen with Love Funeral Home in Palmyra, Indiana in charge of services. In lieu of flowers donation can be made in Charlie's name to the Wounded Warrior Project at P.O.  Box 758516, Topeka Kansas 66675-8516.
