Charles Edward Sears

Palmyra, IN, Charles Edward Sears, age 61, passed away on January 17, 2022, at Methodist North Lake Hospital in Gary, IN. He was born on August 15, 1960, in Corydon, IN, to Arthur Edward Louis and Doris J. (Papoy) Sears. Charles worked as a teacher and later for the Amazon company in Jeffersonville. He was a member of Palmyra United Methodist Church, a member of the Shriners International, and would often donate to St. Jude Children’s Hospital. Charles enjoyed karaoke, music, and going to church.

 He is preceded in death by his father.

Charles is survived by his mother; sister, Judy (George) Thompson; and two nephews, Matthew Thompson, and Ethan Thompson; as well as two aunts and one uncle.

Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, January 24, 2022, at Love Funeral Home in Palmyra, IN. Visitation will be the same day from 10 a.m. until time of service. Interment will be at Palmyra Cemetery in Palmyra, IN.
