Brett Adam Timberlake

Brett Adam Timberlake, 32, of New Salisbury, IN, passed away on May 22, 2023. 

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM on Wednesday, May 31, 2023 at Love Funeral Home, Palmyra, IN, with burial at Louden’s Chapel Cemetery.  Visitation will be held from 3 to 8 PM on Tuesday and after 10 AM on Wednesday at the funeral home. 

From his daughter Lileigh: “Dad was an amazing person. He was loving, funny, and always knew how to cheer us up. No matter what was going on between us I could never leave the house without a hug and kiss goodbye. Dad was always the type of person who wanted to protect his girls no matter the cost, and I know that he’s protecting us now.”

Brett was born on July 26, 1990 in New Albany, IN, and was a member of Carpenter’s Union 175.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ellis Timberlake; grandfather, Victor J. Smith; and brother, Canaan Timberlake.

He is survived by his mother, Vanessa Timberlake; children, Lileigh Hammond (mother, Amanda Hammond) and Akira Timberlake (mother, Kaylee Armstrong); grandmother, Bonnie J. Green-Cundiff (Delmer); siblings, Craig Green, Jason Smith and Chase Timberlake; and girlfriend, Jessica Brown (Honor, Journey and Addy).
