Betty Sumner Obituary

Greenville, IN, Betty June (Mann) Sumner, age 78, passed away at her home on Wednesday October 27, 2021. Betty was born on May 11, 1943 in Louisville, KY, to Burnis and Mildred Mann. She married Charles Sumner in May of 1961. Betty worked and retired from Floyd Memorial Hospital where she worked in Dietary services. She enjoyed working crossword puzzles, cooking and spending time with her family.

Betty is preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Terry Wayne Sumner, Kurt Douglas Sumner; and one sister Jackie Woodward.

She is survived by her husband; one granddaughter, Mikayla “Katie” Sumner; one Brother, Clarence David Mann; as well as one soon to arrive great- grandchild Casey Sumner.

Cremation was Chosen. Love Funeral Home is in charge of arrangments.
