Artelia Foote

Depauw, IN, Artelia (Kennedy) Foote, age 74, passed away at her home on March 02, 2021, surrounded by her family. She was born on September 13, 1946 in Corydon, Indiana to Walter Sr. and Georgia (Masters) Kennedy. Artelia was a happy person who always had a smile on her face. She enjoyed going to festivals and concerts, but most of all she loved spending time with her family.

Artelia is preceded in death by her parents; five sisters, Mary Davis, Anna Chism, Norma Mitchell, Anita Stonecipher,Brenda Stonecipher; and one brother Walter Kennedy.

She is survived by her two daughters, Lisa (Ray Steel) Shireman, Bonet (Jef Barnard) Shanteau; one son, Ernest (Ruby) Keith Jr.; three sisters, Ruth Kennedy Crawford, Cora (Charles) Schaad, Frances (Jerry) Lutz; one sister-in-law Shirley Kennedy; two grandchildren, Roxie Crecelius, April Crecelius; three great –grandchildren, Aaron Roth, Cody Roth, and Shilee Devore; as well as on faithful companion Dexter.

Cremation was chosen, with Love Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
