Alan Boyd Jones

Alan Boyd Jones, age 76, of Palmyra passed away peacefully at his home on April 6, 2023.

Alan was born on July 3, 1946 to George and Bernadine (Sommerville) Jones in Louisville , KY. He graduated from Morgan High School class of 1964. Alan worked as a Customer Service Agent for TWA and American Airlines.He married Karen (Rhodes) Jones on July 16, 1966. Alan and Karen lived in Palmyra, IN. He was a member of the Palmyra Church of Christ. Alan was a former member of the Army National Guard. He enjoyed Hunting, fishing, working on and owning classic muscle cars, and learning about history. Alan loved spending time with his friends and family. 

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Alan is survived by Wife, Karen Jones; son, Scott (MaDonna) Jones, son, Kevin (Michelle) Jones, son, Jason (Stephanie) Jones; one sister, Joyce (Larry) Sears; ten grandchildren, Ashlee, Mitchell, Cammie, Rachel, Mason, Landan, Finley, Nick, Parker, Kaelyn. and one great-grandchild, Karsyn.   

Funeral services will be held at 12pm on Tuesday April 11, 2023 at Palmyra Church of Christ.
 
Visitation will be held on Monday April 10, 2023 from 2pm to 8pm at Love Funeral Home, Palmyra, IN, and again on Tuesday April 11, 2023 at the Palmyra Church of Christ from 10am until time of service. 

Interment will be at Palmyra Cemetery.
